Training update

So in the past month I have mostly been focused on running, as it felt like the most intimidating part of the triathlon, and well last week I did my longest run yet! I did 7km of running without stopping for more than a couple of minutes, and I felt great while doing it. Now, 10km of running doesn’t feel that far away.

Here is my longest run to date, it feels pretty good when something that did not feel possible in the past is now possible and also fun.

Here is a look at my running training volume over the last few months, overall I have slowly increased how many kilometers I run every week. I haven’t done my weekly runs yet.

Because I have mostly been focusing on running, I have not been able to expand my training volume in the other disciplines.

I am excited to start swimming and biking in the next part of my training, all while I develop a stronger cardiovascular system to run longer.
